The 12th is one of the most striking holes on the course, being a two-shot hole of 427 yards and a stiff test for any golfer. There is a gully to carry with the drive and beyond that the fairway slopes down towards the green, which then rises on a plateau. A cross bunker comes in from the left to cover the entry to the green, which catches many second shots. There is trouble in the way of heavy rough and trees to the left and right on the approach. It is possible to reach the green with a running shot that carries the bunker and swings in from the left, but such a shot needs to be very accurately judged. |
