The 9th is the third par 5 of the front nine measuring some 513 yards with the boundary fence on the left all the way along the hole.
From a tee beside the eighth green the drive is over a dip on to the plateau fairway beyond. A pushed out shot may find trees on the right hand side. A good drive down the middle will find the downward slope of the fairway and travel added distance . The newly laid trench short of the green needs to be avoided as do the groups of trees left and right, which guard the approach to the green. The green is a large and relatively flat with bunkers left and right. |
