Festival Week 2008 - 3rd August to 8th August 2008

The Manchester Golf Club celebrated its 125th anniversary in style last week with nearly 1000 competitors enjoying the improved weather as they participated in the Club’s annual Festival Week, sponsored by local brewer, J W Lees & Co.

The course was in terrific condition for the 6 day sequence of Open events. Prizewinners came from as far afield as Dorset, Fleetwood and Sheffield.

Special thanks go to competition sponsors CJM Physiotherapy Ltd, Samper Engineering Ltd and LB Telecom & Data Ltd for their contributions to a highly successful week.
