Many congratulations to Aiden Hoosen for securing a place in this year’s final qualifying for The Open after a 9-hole play-off involving nineteen players. The official website reported that he looked absolutely exhausted after earning his place at St Annes Old Links. It is a fantastic achievement for Aiden, who has earned a place in the 36-hole Final Qualifying for a place in the 149th Open at Royal St George’s.
Representing The Manchester Golf Club, Aiden progresses to Final Qualifying beating last-man standing Simon Lucas who battled absolutely magnificently for nine play-off holes. Good luck and well-done from all at the Club.
