In line with Government and Golf Industry guidance, The Manchester Golf Club is open for golf. Rules related to the tiering system are subject to change and we recommend that everyone checks local guidelines before travelling to the club – full details are available via the link below:

Play Safe, Stay Safe
The health of well-being of our members, staff and associates is of paramount importance to The Manchester Golf Club. So too your continued enjoyment of the game and our course. As such we request that:
- Members book a tee-time before travelling to the club
- The Club’s Social Distancing and Competition guidelines (see below) are followed in order to Play Safe and Stay Safe
- Members continue to follow wider Government guidelines published on the gov.uk website – including specific local restriction guidelines which are detailed here.
Whilst the course, bar, Pro Shop and some toilet facilities are open, the locker rooms are closed until further notice. We continue to carefully monitor all guidance and keep members, visitors and guests informed of developments through this page.

Getting ready for golf
Guidelines published by the leading bodies of the golf industry advise that golf clubs must follow specific guidelines and procedures for followed by all golfers, visitors and staff. The Manchester Golf Club is adopting all guidelines, key points of which are available from the links below. Please read these guidelines to prepare to return to the course, which we hope to announce shortly.

Members Together
The Manchester Golf Club entered the COVID-19 crisis as one of the most admired golf clubs in the region. Our success is due to members, staff, visitors, associates and suppliers – many of whom straddle more than one of these categories. Unlike companies who chase profit for shareholders, we exist for the benefit and enjoyment of our members – with an obligation to do the best for present and future generations.
Our plan is to develop our facilities and reputation further to become recognised as one of the best nationally. This will require a collective effort to which we all contribute through our fees, time and/or discretionary support – as summarised in our Members Update below:

Member Pledges
