36 HOLE AMATEUR SCRATCH MEDAL NORTHERN ORDER OF MERIT QUALIFIER

Entry fee £40 – First Prize £300 voucher – Other Prizes for 2nd to 6th place, Best AM, Best PM and Best Net

The Competition will be played in accordance with the Rules of Golf as laid down by the R & A.
The Competition is open to full members aged 18 years and over of recognised Golf Clubs (or otherwise at the discretion of the Committee) with a maximum handicap of 6. Should entries be over-subscribed, a ballot by handicap will take place.
The final date for entries is Wednesday 7th June 2023. Starting times will be allocated by handicap and the Order of Play will be sent to all competitors by email.
Entry fees will not be refunded unless notice of withdrawal is received by the General Manager before Friday 9th June 2023. The Club reserves the right to refuse any entry without giving a reason.
Any competitor whose playing handicap has changed from the date of entry must inform the Committee on the day of the Competition under penalty of disqualification.
Prizewinners must have an active handicap and no competitor will receive more than one prize. All prizewinners are expected to attend the Prize Presentation, which will take place shortly after the return of the final scorecards.
Competitors will be made temporary members on the day of the Competition and will be expected to conform to the Club’s Dress Code.
All disputes will be referred to and settled by the Competition Committee, whose decision will be final. In the event of a tie, the rules of the Lancashire Union of Golf Clubs will apply.
