Our three year development project was completed in 2023 with the opening of The Manchester Golf Academy, featuring a 350-yard driving range (with undercover and on-grass bays plus Trackman Range Technology), short game area with 575m2 green and teaching studio. Designed by a renowned Harry Colt Specialist, the Academy is available to members of all categories. See how to use the facilities below. Booking is required to use the Range using the link below – log-in is required with usernames available from the office.
A strictly limited number of places are available for people wishing to join our club as an Academy Member. As well as having the opportunity to practice on outstanding facilities, members receive discounts on green fees, drinks and food, along with access to the superb House of Golf operation.
Whether you are new to golf or enjoy honing your game on the range, this membership option is a great choice. With year-round access to the range, short game area and putting green by the clubhouse (weather permitting).
For those who really love their practice, this is the perfect membership option. Your annual fee includes all the benefits of Academy Membership plus free House of Golf lessons and the option to book one round of off peak golf a month at the County Card rate.
This Membership entitles you to all the benefits of Academy membership PLUS additional free range balls, one round of off-peak golf for one golfer each month and the ability to introduce guests at the member green fee rate.
Balls are dispensed at the Range, you can pay using contactless payment methods or your range card, available from the office. Please load ball credits on your range card in the clubhouse to receive a discount on range balls. The range is not available to non-members other than golfers who have paid a green fee or have a lesson with the House of Golf team.

To use the range simply book a bay using the online booking system – user names are available from the office. Each member can book up to 3 twenty minute slots each day on a first-come, first served basis. The system shows which indoor and outdoor bays are available each day.

The Short Game Area (including green and bunkers) is available for members to practice using their own balls. Members are requested to use the facilities fairly and allow time for others. Please choose an available space and practice with care – ensuring at all times that no-one else is inconvenience or in danger of being hit by your clubs or balls you hit. Always rake the bunkers and repair any pitch marks after use.
