The Manchester Golf Club (which is also known as Hopwood) boasts one of the best golf courses in the region but we also have some of the best practice facilities of any private club in the county. We have dedicated areas for practicing all aspects of your game, from putting to bunker play, driving to iron play. Members and their guests, green fee-paying visitors, open day competitors and golfers on society/corporate days have access to these fantastic the facilities. And, those being taught by the House of Golf Professional team, get to improve their games on world-class facilities when being coached.
Our architect-designed 500m2 short game area at the Range is complimented by two individual chipping greens at the entrance to the club. Each features bunkers and different pin positions to practice a variety of shots.
Opened in 2023 after a three-year development project, our Range & Academy features grass and indoor bays, Trackman Range Technology and 300+ yard landing area. Members also have access to The Hill, a practice ground to hit your own balls.
A favourite of members and visitors alike, our beautiful putting green spans the full width of the clubhouse and borders the outdoor decking area. Perfect for getting to grips with the 'game within a game', with plenty of space for all.

From April 2024, you can play Manchester Golf Club on Trackman and Trakman Range. So, golfers can play the course all around the world. Read how they did it below.
