The morning action of the final day of the Lancashire Amateur at Hopwood concluded with the leader maintaining his position at the top of the leaderboard. John Carroll from Huyton & Prescott added another 69 to his total – his third sub-seventy round of the event – for an 11 under par total on the challenging blue course. Zain Wild from Penwortham GC added a best of the morning 67 to move into second place at eight under with three players (Alex James from Royal Lytham & St. Annes, Thomas Watson from Hillside and Luke Kelly from Aston-under-Lyne) on four under.
Manchester members Ben Crompton is on 220 and Graeme Jackson is on 218, both shot one over rounds of 73 in the morning.
